O's boss urges players to rest up

Williams guided the Brisbane Road club to a mid-table finish last season after taking over in February with the O's languishing in the relegation zone. The former Colchester boss, who signed a new deal with the club in April, is now hopeful that his players can make the most of their summer before returning for pre-season training. "They've all got an out of season programme," he said. "They get three weeks to rest their bodies and minds, play a bit of golf and tennis just to keep moving. "The out of season programme then builds up and we come back to fitness training in early July."
