Orient through to face Seasiders
Leyton Orient will meet Premier League Blackpool in the semi-finals of the South West Challenge Cup after seeing off Truro City 4-0 on Thursday night.
The O`s put in a dominant performance and their place in the last four was never really in doubt as goals from Alex Revell, George Porter, Ryan Jarvis and Stephen Dawson secured a routine triumph.
The result, coupled with Tuesday`s 2-1 win over Eastleigh, means Orient top Group 2 and will come up against Ian Holloway`s outfit on Saturday.
The winners will progress to the final where they will play either League Two Shrewsbury or non-league Havant & Waterlooville on Sunday.
Manager Russell Slade told Orient Player: "It`s always nice when you get an early goal, I thought it settled us down. It wasn`t an easy surface but I thought we still maintained some good play at times.
"We were a bit sloppy from time to time, giving the ball away a little bit cheaply, but by and large there was some enterprising football played."
