Leyton Orient have signed Exeter City striker Jamie Cureton on a one-year deal, with the option of an extension."Jamie's an experienced player and his addition to the squad helps retain that kind of balance from last year," Russell Slade told the club website. [LNB]"His goalscoring's phenomenal, and many of the goals he has scored have been in the Championship," said the O's boss. [LNB]The 35-year-old scored 20 goals for Exeter in League One last season, helping the Grecians to finish eight. [LNB]Cureton started his career as a trainee with Norwich before switching to his hometown with Bristol Rovers in 1996 where he netted 74 goals in four seasons. [LNB]After a move to Reading he had a short spell in South Korea before returning to England to join QPR, then Swindon and Colchester. [LNB]He then returned to Carrow Road before moving to St James Park last summer.
