Orient express earns win

Leyton Orient coasted to their first League win of the season as they put Exeter to the sword with a comfortable 3-0 win. Exeter were fortunate to be only a goal down at the break after keeper Paul Jones almost fumbled Stephen Dawson's effort into his own net before pushing it to safety. City defender Rob Edwards then scrambled a Scott McGleish shot off the line and Adam Chambers and Alex Revell both hit posts before Orient went ahead. This saw Revell head a cross from the right by Elliot Omozusi into City's far corner with six minutes of the first half to go. Exeter posed their first and only threat as the second half opened when Orient defender Terrell Forbes allowed John O'Flynn to escape and force home keeper Jamie Jones to concede a corner. Orient went two up when McGleish shrugged off challenges from two defenders and broke clear to stroke his shot past Paul Jones with 20 minutes remaining. Midfielder Dean Cox added a third - his first for the club - when he gathered a pass from McGleish and easily beat the keeper with 11 minutes of play left.
