Orient duo absent for Southend clash

Veteran striker McGleish will be sidelined after suffering a knee injury in a collision with Brighton goalkeeper Peter Brezovan during Saturday's goalless draw.[LNB]Midfielder Thornton serves a one-match ban after collecting his fifth yellow card of the season at the Withdean Stadium, so Jimmy Smith could be recalled.[LNB]Manager Geraint Williams will be hoping Ryan Jarvis can shake off the illness which sidelined him on Boxing Day in time to boost his attacking options.[LNB]Teenage winger Andros Townsend plays the final game of his loan spell from Tottenham, although he has stated he would be happy to extend his spell with the east Londoners.[LNB]Meanwhile, Williams was disappointed not to take all three points from their match with the Seagulls.[LNB]Williams felt his side created the best chances over the course of the goalless draw.[LNB]He said: "We've drawn our last two away games but had opportunities to win them, and it is most important to try and go out to win.[LNB]"For us, it's all about getting it right in both boxes.[LNB]"It was a point gained but we are disappointed not to get all three as, after being a bit nervy early on, we created the better chances over 90 minutes."[LNB][LNB]
