Mixed feelings for Slade

Leyton Orient boss Russell Slade looked back on his side's season with mixed emotions. The Os have had a memorable campaign, embarking on a 14-game unbeaten run to climb into the promotion mix as well as famously holding Arsenal to a 1-1 draw in the FA Cup. Yet ultimately the season ended in disappointment for Slade after they narrowly missed out on a place in the play-offs. "Overall you have to say it's been a very, very good season," he said. "But when you get so close there's still that tinge of disappointment that you've not got one of those top-six slots."
