Missed chance haunts Slade

Orient manager Russell Slade was left to rue a gilt-edged chance squandered by his side in the last minute of their 2-1 home defeat to Huddersfield. Scott Arfield and Jordan Rhodes grabbed the goals for Huddersfield either side of half-time, with Dean Cox's 79th-minute strike for the Londoners little more than a consolation for the hosts. Slade said: "Dean Cox has pulled a ball back across the six-yard line. Alex Revell is just inches away from it, then substitute James Walker has turned and hit it. "Their man nearly did not clear it off the line, it nearly went over his foot. The chances were there to get a point and to be honest, I thought we deserved a point."
