Ling lands Cambridge manager's job

Ling's reign at Brisbane Road lasted just over five years before he parted ways with the club back in January after a disappointing run of results. He guided the O's to promotion from League Two in 2006 before successfully keeping the club in League One over the following seasons. Ling, who has signed a three-year deal, will now look to repeat his success and bring League football back to Cambridge following their relegation from the bottom tier in 2005. The Us have lost out on promotion in successive play-off finals and will be keen to make it third time lucky this time around.
