Lisbie pushing for start

Kevin Lisbie is pushing to return to Leyton Orient's starting line-up for the visit of Shrewsbury.

Striker Lisbie came on in the closing stages of Wednesday night's 1-0 defeat at MK Dons after a month on the sidelines with a hamstring injury.

Manager Russell Slade will be tempted to play Lisbie from the start with his side having failed to find the net in their last four matches.

Scott Cuthbert could also be involved for the first time since August.

The influential defender is battling back to fitness following a hamstring problem and may be added to the squad.

Ryan Allsopp should keep his place in goal despite Jamie Jones' return to fitness after a long-term shoulder injury.

Shrewsbury duo Luke Summerfield and Terry Gornell hope to be back up to full fitness in time for the crunch trip.

Midfielder Summerfield missed his first game of the season as he was dropped to the bench for Tuesday's 2-1 defeat at Bournemouth nursing a sickness bug.

Striker Gornell has also sat out of training with a similar virus, while Town are now keeping an eye on Mark Wright.

Manager Graham Turner explained on the club's official website: "Luke's still a bit groggy but he's wanted to train (on Thursday) and get some work under his belt. It was very unfortunate for him as I think he's been one of our better players this season.

"He's been a big influence in midfield and it was in unfortunate circumstances, a couple of hours before the match, that it was decided he wasn't fit. He had been sick and strangely enough Terry Gornell is missing training with the same symptoms and they've been sharing a car. Mark Wright is the other one in the car so we've just got to monitor him and make sure he's okay."

Fourth-from-bottom Shrews travel to Brisbane Road one place and two points behind the O's.
