O's wait on doubtful trio Leyton Orient will check on Anthony Griffith, Martin Rowlands, and Dean Cox ahead of the visit of Sheffield United. The midfield trio all picked up slight knocks during Tuesday night's 2-1 win at Walsall but should be fit. Lloyd James is pushing for a return to the starting line-up after proving his fitness for the reserves in midweek. The full-back has been missing since August with an ankle injury but will now challenge Leon McSweeney for his place in the back four. Defender Scott Cuthbert is still missing with a hamstring injury and goalkeepers Jamie Jones (shoulder) and Lee Butcher (knee) are long-term absentees. The in-form O's have won four of their last six matches to move into the top half of League One. Sheffield United manager Danny Wilson is hoping to name an unchanged line-up as his side look to stretch their unbeaten start to the season to 11 matches. One or two of Wilson's players are nursing minor bumps and bruises sustained in the midweek win at Hartlepool, but are not expected to miss out, while the Blades boss has no major new injury or suspension issues to deal with. Only defender Lecsinel Jean-Francois remains a long-term absentee due to a knee injury that will keep him out of action for another month. Midfielder Paul Gallagher shook off a hamstring strain in time to play the full 90 minutes in midweek. He also fired a late winner and will retain his place, while Dave Kitson and Nick Blackman are expected to resume their partnership up front. The Blades have won two and drawn three of their five away league matches.
