Double doubt for O's

Shane Lowry and Jay Simpson are Leyton Orient's latest injury worries for the home game against fellow strugglers Crewe.

Defender Lowry and striker Simpson both limped out of the 3-2 defeat at Gillingham last weekend, which saw the O's slip into the relegation zone, and are doubts for the Brisbane Road clash.

Gianvito Plasmati is carrying a knee injury, fellow forward Kevin Lisbie remains sidelined by a shoulder problem and midfielder Lloyd James is recovering from a broken leg.

But boss Mauro Milanese can welcome back winger Jobi McAnuff, who missed the last two matches while on international duty with Jamaica.

Crewe top scorer Marcus Haber's international commitments look like getting in the way once more.

The Canada striker has missed the Alex's last two games and his arrival back into this country is likely to come too late to allow him to link up with his club team-mates ahead of the trip.

Fellow forwards Danny Haynes and Febian Brandy, both ineligible to play in the FA Cup in midweek, return but their loan deals are due to expire after this game.

Captain Matt Tootle will be assessed again following his virus, but Ryan Colclough (hernia) and Liam Nolan (ankle) remain out.
