Duo could be back for Orient

Leyton Orient could have defenders Nicky Hunt and Callum Kennedy back for their final game in the Football League as they prepare to host Colchester on Saturday.

Both players took part in training last week following injuries and should be in contention to start for Omer Riza's side.

Striker Paul McCallum played 45 minutes of their 3-0 defeat against Crewe last time out and could replace Victor Adeboyejo or Tristan Abrahams.

Liam Kelly, Gavin Massey. Myles Judd, Nigel Atangana and Yvan Erichot remain absent.

Colchester still have hopes of making the play-offs, despite three successive draws.

Midfielder Tom Lapslie returned to the side for last weekend's goalless draw against promoted Plymouth following a shoulder injury, so will be assessed.

Veteran Doug Loft is available again following Achilles and calf injuries, having come on for the closing stages last weekend.

Sammie Szmodics remains out as the midfielder continues to recover from a broken leg.

Leading scorer Kurtis Guthrie (ankle), midfielder Craig Slater (groin), defender Frankie Kent (ankle), forward Denny Johnstone (knee) and club captain Luke Prosser (knee) are all long-term absentees.
