O's still looking for home comforts

Two goals by Jim O'Brien earned Coventry an away point in a 2-2 draw at Leyton orient after Scott Cuthbert and Jay Simpson had scored for the hosts.

The Sky Blues opened the scoring in the 35th minute after Nathan Clarke had slipped allowing Gary Madine to run onto the ball and square a pass across goal for O'Brien to net from close range.

The home side, still looking for their first home win of the season, levelled after 54 minutes when Cuthbert rose highest to meet a Dean Cox corner and found just enough power on his header to send the ball across the line.

Then in the 70th minute, Simpson put Orient in front from close range after being set up by Mathieu Baudry.

But in the first minute of injury time, O's goalkeeper Gary Woods flapped at a cross from the left and sent his punch straight to O'Brien who volleyed home from 20 yards.

The visitors were forced into an early change when Reda Johnson was forced off after a clash of heads with Gianvito Plasmati in the first minute.
