Smith stuns Orient
Korey Smith stunned promotion-hopefuls Leyton Orient with a late equaliser to secure a 1-1 draw at Brisbane Road
Scott Cuthbert had headed Orient into a 45th-minute lead from a cross by Dean Cox, who was making his 200th appearance for the O's.
Then in added time Cox provided David Mooney with a chance but the striker's shot from close range was parried by keeper Paul Rachubka.
Jenson Clarke-Harris and Danny Philliskirk had early chances for Oldham but found on-loan keeper Eldin Jakupovic in sound form, and the home side gradually warmed to their task with Cox pulling the strings.
However it was a different story after the break as Oldham dictated the play. Gary Harkins, Charlie McDonald and Philliskirk all squandered good chances before Smith broke Orient's resistance.
Spotting Jakupovic off his line, he struck a sublime lob from 22 yards over the keeper and into the net one minute from time.
