Lads were magnificent - Williams

The home side won it after 11 minutes when Stephen Purches broke in from the right to cap a move featuring striker Adam Boyd and midfielder Sean Thornton by firing past goalkeeper John Ruddy.[LNB]It was only Orient's third home win of the season, and Williams was pleased with his team's resilience.[LNB]He said: "The good thing is we picked up three points and stopped one of the teams around us from picking up any points at all. It was a big game but it was worth three points and we will move onto the next one.[LNB]"The lads were magnificent. The attitude was positive. At the end they still wanted to play good football in the middle of the park when perhaps it was time to get it down to the bottom end and see the game out.[LNB]"There was a lot of physical pressure, free-kicks, corners and long throws and I thought they stood up to it brilliantly."[LNB][LNB]
