Injury-plagued Chambers faces month out

Leyton Orient midfielder Adam Chambers faces a month on the sidelines, according to boss Russell Slade. The 30-year-old has spent lengthy spells in the treatment room this season following surgery on both calves and a hamstring problem. Chambers made his first start since November in last week's goalless draw against Brighton, but lasted just five minutes after gashing his leg. And manager Slade has confirmed the midfielder will be out for a month with the injury. "It was a freak accident and he suffered a really deep wound," he told the Ilford Recorder. "It looks as if he is going to be out of action for about four or five weeks. "We are monitoring the situation, but it's a shame for Adam. He's not the luckiest man in the world at the moment."
