Chorley in optimistic mood

Leyton Orient defender Ben Chorley believes his side will be a force to be reckoned with in the forthcoming campaign. Russell Slade, who was appointed manager in April, has already added nine new faces to his squad this summer having successfully guided the O`s to League One safety. Chorley, who joined from Tranmere in the summer of 2009, is impressed by Slade's acquisitions and believes they can help Orient to success this term. "There's definitely a feeling of positivity here looking ahead to the new season," he told the club's official website. "We ended last year with top 10 in the table sort of form - the gaffer came in, did well and sorted a few things out. "You can see from the people he's brought in that there's a few characters and leaders there. Five or six captains on the pitch is what you need. "So we're looking forward to it. There's a lot of optimism and I think with the work ethic that the gaffer shows and that he wants from us we'll be more than fine."
