Saunders stings Orient as Bees run riot

Brentford's Sam Saunders hit two stunning free-kicks in a 5-0 rout of London rivals Leyton Orient.

The Bees took the lead inside six minutes when Celtic loan signing Niall McGinn cut in from the left and lashed a low drive inside the post.

But it was all quiet until the second half exploded into life after 53 minutes when Saunders found Leon Legge unmarked at the far post to head home.

Then it was time for Saunders to take centre stage, when he whipped an unstoppable free-kick from 20 yards into the far corner after 54 minutes.

He made it four shortly before the end with a curled free-kick into the near corner which left Orient keeper Lee Butcher rooted to his line.

McGinn flashed an effort against the post but there was still time for Marcus Bean to complete the thrashing with a low-angled drive into the bottom corner.
