First-half goals from Charlie Daniels and veteran striker Scott McGleish put the visitors 2-0 up at half-time. On-loan Reading striker Simon Church then made it 3-0 five minutes into the second period to render Scott Dobie's late strike for the home side a mere consolation. "Once we settled we flourished and our second goal was 23 passes with everyone touching the ball, finishing with a great cross and a goal," said Williams. "If Carlisle had taken their early chances it could have been a different game. We defended well after a shaky start and I'm only disappointed we didn't keep a clean sheet. "That performance with the ball is how I have wanted us to play. It's as confident as I have seen us."
