Leyton Orient manager Russell Slade hailed "an important victory" as his side returned to winning ways by beating Plymouth 2-0. After losing three and drawing one of their previous four matches, first-half goals from Scott McGleish and Dean Cox saw Orient reignite their play-off push. Slade said: "It was an important victory and we kept a clean sheet which was good on a pitch that wasn't great. "We set our stall out to be resilient because we knew that the type of opposition was going to be quite direct off Rory Fallon, who is a very strong forward. I thought we coped with that quite well. "We got off to a great start with a couple of great crosses and we probably could have another goal from Alex Revell with a header, but I'm really pleased with the result."
