Argent suffers knee woe
Rookie Leyton Orient striker Jake Argent is facing a long spell out with a serious knee injury.
The 18-year-old, who signed his first professional contract this summer, requires an exploratory operation to determine the extent of the ligament damage he suffered last Saturday's friendly at Cambridge.
"This is obviously very disappointing news for both Jake and the club," said Os manager Russell Slade.
"Jake could be out for the majority of the season now, But I'm sure he will fight hard to overcome the injury and prove himself at this level."
