Levante have named Jose Angel Moreno as their interim coach following Gianni De Biasi's return to Torino.
De Biasi took over La Liga's bottom club in October but opted to return to Italy with relegation a virtual certainty.
Moreno, who had been in charge of the Valencia club's youth system, has now been handed the first-team reins until the end of the season.
Levante could be relegated should they lose to Getafe this weekend as they are currently 15 points adrift of safety with just six league games remaining.
