Leicester City's caretaker manager Nigel Worthington has admitted that he still has no idea of whether he will be handed a long-term stay with the Foxes.
Worthington has guided the Foxes to Championship safety with two wins in four games since he took charge at the Walkers Stadium, but is waiting to see whether chairman Milan Mandaric will give him the nod for next season.
He told the Leicester Mercury: "I knew the circumstances. It was a short-term decision that had to be made.
"It was a case of giving it my best shot. I have worked with good people and now I just have to wait and see what happens.
"One thing I do know is that, if I get the job here, I will be very pleased. But, if not, I will be looking for one elsewhere because I enjoy the game."
