Spearing set to make Foxes debut

The midfielder will go straight into the squad after joining on loan from Liverpool until the end of the season as the Foxes look to maintain their position in the top six of the Championship. Bruno Berner is set to miss the next few games after suffering a calf problem in the warm-up to Sunday's 2-2 draw with Coventry, so Ryan McGivern will again deputise at left-back. Wayne Brown will be pushing for a starting role after coming off the bench to mark his return from a hamstring injury in that clash, while James Vaughan returns to contention after recovering from a hamstring problem and illness. But Alex Bruce is five days to two weeks away from a return after undergoing keyhole surgery on his groin this week. Star striker Matt Fryatt, who has been out of action since suffering a broken jaw against Doncaster last month, stepped up his recovery by returning to light training on Monday and has a slight chance of featuring before the end of the campaign.
