Leicester City boss Rob Kelly has confirmed that Paddy McCarthy is likely to miss the Foxes' next two Championship matches after the defender dislocated a shoulder in training.
The injury forced the 23-year-old to sit out Saturday's draw with Luton Town and he is also tipped to miss this month's games against Ipswich Town and Coventry City.
"Sometimes I wonder if I've run over a black cat," a despondent Kelly told City's official website.
"It was a completely freak training ground accident - he just went over and he's dislocated his shoulder.
"We'll have to wait and see - but he certainly won't be available for the next game or two."
