Leicester City boss Nigel Pearson has played down rumours linking him with the managerial jobs at Burnley and Celtic.

The 46-year-old has helped the Foxes into the Championship play-off places this season, having helped City gain promotion from League One at the first time of asking last term.

However, his focus is solely on the end of what could be a very special season for his current charges.

He said: "I am just concentrating on my job here. I have a three-year contract and there are clauses in it.

"Like any contract there are different clauses and I don't think anyone needs to know that.

"It (the speculation) doesn't bother me at all. I don't think it is appropriate to be talking about other people's jobs while they are still in them. It is a bit unfair on them.

"We all have jobs to do and are trying our best to do them."
