New start for Foxes duo

DJ Campbell and Nicky Adams could be reborn as Leicester players under new boss Paulo Sousa, according to coach Chris Powell.Striker Campbell and midfielder Adams appeared to be on their way out of the club at the end of last season but both players impressed during the recent pre-season tour of Slovenia.Campbell seemed destined to join Blackpool in the Premier League after helping them win the play-offs during his loan spell last season but talks have now broken down. Adams rejected a move to Brentford in a bid to try to impress Sousa."DJ, being the character he is, came back from a successful loan spell and has been terrific," Powell told the Leicester Mercury."Players who have been on the fringes or out on loan last season can see a possible chance under a new manager. Perhaps Paulo is seeing things in players that maybe the previous managers haven't. It is an opportunity for everyone."I think Nicky is trying to take on a new position at full-back to establish himself. It is a new beginning. He was close to moving on this summer but feels he will get a chance under the new manager and wants to give it his best shot, and he has done that."
