Leicester City striker Dany N'Guessan will play no football for at least a fortnight after damaging ankle ligaments during the recent friendly against Thailand.
The 23-year-old had to be stretchered off the pitch and was taken to hospital for X-rays that confirmed the injury.
Despite the injury, Foxes boss Sven-Goran Eriksson believes the trip to Thailand was invaluable, saying: "The spirit is very good.
"They have tried very hard in everything we have asked of them. It has been a good week and we all know each other better and the owners better.
"I have been working with them now for three training sessions and I know much more about them now than I did one week ago.
"I like what I have seen and the approach to the game on Saturday was very professional, which is very important.
"The players' confidence is good and I hope we can go on from this."
