Leicester City teenager James Wesolowski will miss the rest of the season after breaking his leg in Saturday's 2-1 victory at Brighton.
The 18-year-old missed the start of the campaign after breaking the same leg in a friendly against Celtic and only returned to first-team action last month.
"It's a real disappointment for everyone," caretaker boss Rob Kelly told the Foxes' official website.
"James has done fantastically well to break through to the first team this season and has been a real breath of fresh air for us.
"But he's in great hands here and I have no doubt in my mind that he will come back from this. He has got a great mentality and attitude for a young player."
