McCarthy blow stuns Foxes

Leicester City boss Rob Kelly has revealed that skipper Patrick McCarthy could miss the rest of the season after dislocating his shoulder in a training ground accident.

The Republic of Ireland defender has missed the last two games after falling in training and scans have revealed the injury is worse than was initially feared.

"I think Paddy will do well to get back before the end of the season. That's obviously disappointing," confirmed Kelly.

"But there is no point in dwelling on these things so we will get on with it.

"It is an area of the pitch where we have got good competition for places."
