Leicester City chairman Milan Mandaric has again vowed to take his time to find the right manager to take the club forward next season.
Nigel Worthington came in on a caretaker basis to guide the Foxes to safety in the closing weeks of the campaign, but Mandaric is still undecided about whether to look elsewhere for a more permanent successor to Rob Kelly.
He told The Mercury: "The fans are expecting an elevation of the quality in the squad and an elevation of results.
"We are going to make additions, make some changes and have a fresh view on the squad and the choice of manager is, as I have said before, crucial.
"Football is the most important part of this, because it is such a key decision. I wish we could have the right person today, but it is such an important decision I can't afford to rush it.
"Nigel Worthington was the man here at the end of the season and there are three or four others I have to look at closely."
