Mandaric still remains upbeat

Leicester City owner Milan Mandaric still believes his three-year dream of taking the club back into the Premier League remains alive. The Foxes' relegation from the Championship last season came as a major blow to Mandaric in his first full campaign at the helm. But with the Walkers Stadium outfit currently in a strong position at the top of the League One table, the City chief is remaining optimistic. "We have to give it a go," he told the Leicester Mercury. "I am not saying we are going to be in the Premier League, we are not even in the Championship yet, but this is what all the hard work, the investment and everything is for. "We are an ambitious club and I am quite sure (manager) Nigel (Pearson) is keeping an eye on certain players, and all he needs to do is knock on my door and I will be there for him."
