James available again
Matty James comes back into the reckoning for Leicester when they host Blackburn.
James missed the 2-0 home win over Wigan on Saturday as he served a one-match suspension. The midfielder's return to availability means that centre-half Sean St Ledger is the only absentee for manager Nigel Pearson as he continues his recovery from a knee injury.
Dean Hammond, signed from Southampton prior to the international break, made his debut from the bench at the weekend and will be hoping to start.
The likes of Zak Whitbread, Jeff Schlupp, Ignasi Miquel and Chris Wood, who were also substitutes against the Latics, provide Pearson with further options should he wish to make any changes for what will be Leicester's second of seven fixtures in 22 days.
Blackburn boss Gary Bowyer will be without midfielder Lee Williamson.
The 31-year-old saw red for bringing down Danny Ings in the dying embers of Saturday's 1-1 draw with east Lancashire neighbours Burnley and will serve a one-game ban.
Experienced midfielder David Dunn remains sidelined with the knee injury that kept him out at Turf Moor.
The match looks to have come too soon for DJ Campbell (ankle), while Paul Robinson (back), Dickson Etuhu (knee) and Ruben Rochina (shoulder) are still recovering from their respective injuries.
