Leicester fail with Beckham bid

Leicester City boss Sven-Goran Eriksson has admitted that he failed with an audacious move for David Beckham.The Foxes' new owners have sanctioned moves to bring star names to the Walkers Stadium. But Eriksson said neither the 35-year-old ex-England captain, nor Roque Santa Cruz and Robbie Keane, will be coming. "I spoke to David's agent to see if there was a chance.
