Leicester City defender Patrick Kisnorbo has had his red card from Tuesday's Championship defeat at Ipswich Town rescinded.

Referee Phil Joslin sent Kisnorbo off for a challenge on Pablo Coungao, but after watching a replay of the incident, admitted he had made a mistake.

The Australia international is now eligible to play in this weekend's clash against Hull City.

Foxes midfielder Stephen Clemence was bemused by the decision, telling The Mercury: "I think that the decision was one of the worst I have seen. I was running alongside the referee when the incident went off.

"Patrick got the ball and it was running towards the corner flag. Gareth McAuley was left if the attacker did run past him.

"The referee pointed towards the corner and the linesman put his flag across his chest.

"How the referee then doesn't go across to speak to the linesman before sending him off, I don't know. It was a shocking decision and hurt us badly."
