Howard: More to me than goals

Leicester City striker Steven Howard has admitted that there is more to his game than just scoring goals after opening his season's account in the 3-0 win against Sheffield Wednesday on December 12.

His goal in the success was his first in eight months and with fellow forward Martyn Waghorn suspended, Howard is looking to take his opportunity with both hands.

Howard, 33, had sat on the bench for the seven games prior to the Wednesday win and he should figure in the Boxing Day clash with Sheffield United at Walkers Stadium.

Speaking to the Leicester Mercury, he said: "It was a brilliant feeling to score and now I want to get a few more.

"I never worry about it when people are saying that the centre-forward should be scoring goals.

"Everyone knows there is more to my game than that, but I do want to try to score more."
