Gradel extends Leeds stay

Leicester City have allowed Max Gradel to extend his loan spell with Leeds United until the start of January.

The Foxes have inserted a 24-hour recall clause into the agreement after the winger's initial one-month loan at Elland Road came to an end.

"We're delighted Leicester have agreed to let Max stay on and I'd like to thank Nigel Pearson for allowing him to do that," said Leeds boss Simon Grayson.

"Max has done well for us. He's fitted in well, he's brought something different and he was keen to stay on."

Gradel made four substitute appearances for United before making his first start for the club in the midweek win against Grimsby Town.
