Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson has continued to revamp his squad by snapping up the Arsenal full-back Kerrea Gilbert on a season-long loan deal.
The 21-year-old follows in the footsteps of Michael Morrison, Lloyd Dyer, Nicky Adams and Aleksandar Tunchev who have all arrived at the Walkers Stadium this summer.
Gilbert told the Foxes' official website: "I'm delighted to be here and would like to thank the manager for giving me the chance to impress and play regular first-team football.
"I have worked with the gaffer before at England Youth level and have got nothing but praise for him.
"He is always prepared to give you a chance and I am determined not to let him down. I also know Levi Porter and he has been impressed with the work ethic the new manager has brought to the club.
"I am excited to be here. The facilities are of Premier League quality and I am keen to get started and help Leicester City bounce back to the Championship at the first time of asking."
Gilbert has made nine first-team appearances for the Gunners and has been loaned out to Cardiff City and Southend United in the past.
