Foxes swoop for Gallagher

Leicester City have bolstered their strikeforce with the capture of Blackburn's Paul Gallagher for an undisclosed transfer fee.

The 25-year-old has penned a three-year deal with the Foxes and made his debut in Saturday's victory against Barnsley at the Walkers Stadium.

His first game for Rovers was as a substitute against Arsenal in 2003 and he went on to score six goals in 19 league starts and 41 appearances from the substitute's bench.

Gallagher has also spent time on loan at Stoke City, Preston North End and Plymouth Argyle during his career.
