Foxes switch delights Bell

Leicester City signed Luton Town midfielder David Bell just before the loan deadline closed on Thursday evening and the 24-year-old can't wait to start playing for his new side.

The transfer was not ratified by the Football League until Friday and Bell admitted it had all been something of a whirlwind switch.

He told the Foxes' official website: "I was on the training pitch when Mick Harford pulled me over and told me to get myself over to Leicester because the deal had gone through.

"Leicester are a massive club with a huge fanbase and I am absolutely over the moon to have been given the chance to play for them. I have just got to prove my ability now.

"It's a magnificent stadium and I can't wait to get the chance to play there once again."
