Foxes snare Reds youngster

Leicester City have swooped to sign midfielder Astrit Ajdarevic on loan from Liverpool.

The Championship new-boys have signed the former Sweden Under-17 international on a season-long loan basis.

Ajdarevic, 18, has yet to break into the first team at Anfield but was a key part of their 2007 FA Youth Cup winning side.

"It will give us the chance to take a further look," manager Nigel Pearson told the club's official website after casting an eye over the youngster while on a recent trial.

"We will see how things progress."
