Leicester City manager Ian Holloway believes Lee Hendrie can help to lift the Foxes away from relegation danger, after bringing the Sheffield United midfielder to the Walkers Stadium on loan until the end of the season.
The 30-year-old former Aston Villa star has struggled to recapture his best form during a frustrating spell at Bramall Lane, making only nine starts for the Blades this term.
Holloway told City's official website: "Lee has a quality that Leicester City want in their ranks.
"He had a great season while on loan with Stoke last year and he's a player that can unlock a door for us. He will help the team.
"I spoke to him on Wednesday and he's a very motivated individual. That's a trait that I like. He'll add to the group.
"In my eyes he can play wide left, centre midfield and wide right. I'm really looking forward to working with him."
