Foxes pair back in action

Leicester City defenders Patrick Kisnorbo and Joe Mattock are both closing in on first-team returns after continuing their comebacks from injury for the reserves.

Australian defender Kisnorbo has not made an appearance for the Foxes since last season, while Mattock was injured in the second game of the campaign back in August.

Both came through Tuesday's 2-1 victory over a West Brom reserve side unscathed.

"Both Patrick and Joe have come through the full 90 minutes, which will do them the world of good," reserve team manager Gerry Taggart told the club's official website.

"It was a physical contest and they certainly didn't shirk any challenges."
