Foxes meet to discuss offer

Leicester City have confirmed the club are in the "very early stages" of discussions which may lead to a possible takeover.

Former Portsmouth chairman Milan Mandaric has already confirmed that he is interested in a £25million takeover of the Championship club, and the board of directors at the Walkers Stadium are due to meet to discuss the offer at an extraordinary general meeting.

"Following recent press speculation, the board announces that it is currently in very early stage discussions which may or may not lead to an offer being made for the company," read a club statement.

The 48 members of the board are due to meet on Saturday to discuss the potential takeover deal.
