Leicester City chairman Milan Mandaric has revealed former Sheffield United boss Neil Warnock is on his short-list to become the club's next manager.
Warnock left the Blades on Wednesday following their relegation to the Championship citing the need for a fresh challenge.
Mandaric has previously been linked with a move for Warnock when he was chairman at Portsmouth.
"Neil Warnock is a good and experienced manager and may be under consideration," he told the Leicester Mercury.
"But he is only one of several on the list I will be considering. As it is such an important decision, I will not be rushed.
"I have had no dialogue with him or anyone else."
Nigel Worthington is currently in caretaker charge of Leicester following the sacking of Rob Kelly in April and the former Norwich City boss helped steer the club to Championship safety.
