Leicester City owner Milan Mandaric remains hopeful of luring Robbie Fowler to the Walkers Stadium.
Fowler is available on a free transfer after leaving Liverpool following the end of his contract last month.
The former Leeds United and Manchester City striker has already held talks with Sydney FC over a move to Australia, while a number of MLS side are believed to be interested in luring him to America.
But Mandaric believes the Foxes are an attractive proposition for Fowler and is hopeful a deal can be struck.
"I think every ambitious club would be interested in Robbie Fowler," he told Sky Sports News.
"There is not much to speak about him, everyone knows who he is.
"He is a tremendous footballer, a good lad, a good person, and if he could come and join us, we would be very happy.
"There is dialogue and we are going to see what will happen next.
"I'm always hopeful, always positive."
