Leicester City have completed the signing of midfielder Stephen Clemence from Birmingham City in a deal that could eventually be worth £1million.
The 29-year-old has penned a three-year contract at the Walkers Stadium and Foxes boss Martin Allen is delighted to have landed the experienced schemer.
He told the club's official website: "He is a good, experienced player who is ambitious to do well for us.
"He was the captain and player of the year in a side which won promotion and I am sure he will be a big asset to the squad.
"There are some young players in the squad who will benefit from his experience."
Clemence had been with the Blues since January 2003, having started his career with Tottenham Hotspur.
He scored nine goals in 135 appearances for the St Andrew's club.
