Foxes appeal Kisnorbo red
07 Apr 2008 - 12:03:48
Leicester City will appeal against the sending-off of defender Patrick Kisnorbo in the 3-0 defeat at Sheffield United.
The Australian centre-back was dismissed for denying Billy Sharp a goalscoring opportunity early on in the Bramall Lane encounter.
Kisnorbo was also ordered off against Ipswich Town earlier this season, but had the red card rescinded on appeal, with Foxes boss Ian Holloway hoping for a similar outcome again.
He told The Mercury: "We've had enough of these decisions to sink a battleship. Let's hope it doesn't sink us.
"We've got to get two wins out of the last four games and this has made me even more determined. I'll take any two games, hopefully we'll get more than that.
"Hopefully the ref will look at that and, if he stands by that decision, I've got two wooden legs. I'm more than hopeful because I've seen it and they're wrong."
