Leicester City have made Bury midfielder Nicky Adams their third signing of the day as boss Nigel Pearson continues his preparations for the new season.
The 21-year-old has penned a three-year deal with the Foxes after scoring 15 goals in 94 appearances for Bury.
Pearson told City's official website: "Nicky's a player who I like a lot and I'm delighted to have been able to bring him here.
"He can play anywhere across the middle of the park and has got a real eye for goal. I see him very much as a player with a big future ahead of him."
Adams had declined to sign a new contract offered to him by the Shakers earlier this summer, and the League Two side said in a statement on their official website: "As Nicky has come through the youth system at Gigg Lane, and is under the age of 23, a compensation package will be due to the club.
"It is likely that this package will be confirmed at tribunal."
