Double boost lifts Foxes
07 Nov 2008 - 12:01:12
Leicester City have received a double boost with the news that Paul Dickov and Dudley Campbell have both resumed training.
The two strikers have been out of action for six weeks with back and pelvic problems respectively, but could now be in contention for first-team places as soon as Saturday's FA Cup first round meeting with Stevenage.
"Both Paul and DJ trained this morning and are looking good. That's great news for us," manager Nigel Pearson told the club's official website.
"We'll have to wait and see if they're a part of it on Saturday, but they aren't too far away."
Meanwhile, Pearson has also revealed that full-back Kerrea Gilbert has recovered from a hamstring injury but will play no part in the weekend fixture as he has been laid low by illness.
